On May 7,2013 at 1:30am I called the security gatehouse of my building and spoke to the security guard Seth, I advised him that i am a resident of 330 Red Maple Rd. and that the garage cleaning company will start cleaning all the residents P1 parking spots "NOT visitors parking spots" of the building in the morning, and asked him if I can park my vehicle in the visitors parking until the cleaning is complete.

    He said that he will not ticket me and he will make a note for the mobile security guard who will come in later and he will advise them not to ticket my vehicle.

    In the morning I went to vehicle and I noticed a ticket placed on it, I immediately called the security guard manager Ian and spoke to him, and he said he will look into it and call me back, I also called LK Protection headoffice and spoke to Leonard who claimed to be the owner and said he will also look into this and said he will call me back in 24hours after he speaks to Seth.

    On May 8,2013 at aprox 1:00am I saw and spoke to Seth and asked him if Leonard or Ian spoke to him and he said No, I advised him that I received a ticket, and his response was "I never promised you that you will not get a ticket, all I said was I will talk to the mobile security and it would be up to them if they will ticket you or not", I advised him that this is NOT what he previously promised me.


    The next day on May 8,2013 I called and spoke to Leonard and asked him what the status is, he said he hasn't yet spoken to Seth, I informed Leonard that I already spoke to Seth and Seth denied what he originally promised me, Leonard then said "Well if he is denying it then there is nothing I can do about your ticket, you will just have to take it to court", I advised him that I will file a complaint with the better business bureau and he said that's fine, I went ahead and filed a complaint with the better business bureau.

  2. If Seth promised you that they will not ticket you then they shouldn't have, and unfortunately the owner said he can't even help you! Lets wait to hear back from more residents to see what they have to say about LK Protection and their experience with them.

  3. Several guards @ LK Protection are telling residents that this company is much better than the previous company which was Lormar, they said the guards at the previous company weren't doing the work and patrolls as they were supposed to.

    It's funny, because about 4 guards that used to work with Lormar have decided to quit Lormar and work for LK so they can stay at the vineyards, so if they weren't doing their jobs before like they admitted! then who says they are doing their jobs now? :)

  7. I also got a ticket even though I had registered my vehicle and received a visitor parking permit, they don't seem to be organized well.
